NEXUS Commercial Real Estate
Working With NEXUS

Billing & Payments

NEXUS invoices brokerage service fees through Melio, a secure business-payments platform. Here’s exactly what to expect — and how to protect yourself from payment fraud in any transaction.

How It Works

Service Fees, Paid Securely

1
You Receive a Payment Request

When a service fee is due, NEXUS sends an invoice through Melio, our payment platform. It arrives by email and links to a secure payment page — we never ask you to wire funds or pay from an emailed account number.

2
You Pay Online

Pay directly from the secure Melio page by bank transfer (ACH) or card. You choose the method; your banking details go to Melio, not to NEXUS, and are never handled by email.

3
You Get a Receipt

Melio confirms the payment and emails you a receipt automatically. Need an invoice copy or a W-9 for your records? Just ask.

What NEXUS Never Collects

Melio payment requests from NEXUS cover brokerage service fees only. NEXUS Commercial Real Estate, LLC never collects earnest money, security deposits, or any other trust funds. In a purchase transaction, earnest money is delivered directly to the title or escrow company named in your contract — never to NEXUS, and never through Melio.

Wire Fraud Warning

Wire fraud is a real and growing risk in real estate. Before wiring funds to anyone — including a title company — call the recipient at a phone number you verified independently and confirm the wire instructions verbally. Never rely on wiring instructions received by email alone, even if the email appears to come from NEXUS, a title company, or your lender. If you receive a payment request that claims to be from NEXUS and anything about it seems off, call us at (385) 542-7249 before paying.
